It wasn’t until he went back to his church roots that his solo- voice started to take shape.

As Fred transitioned into a solo career, he became famous at his work place (AT&T) singing at the annual Bosses Luncheons (Talented employees entertaining the bosses). He rewrote the popular song “The closer I get to you” by Roberta Flack and Peabo Bryson and penned it as “The closer I get to God” which is feature in the play, that is coming to a city near you.įred has been the lead singer in several groups from grade school “The four Salutations”, high school “the Miami Northwestern stage band” “The ITC Band” and “RPM” which open for the Jacksons in Atlanta and toured Brazil south America where they had a number one song “AS ONE”. He is also currently playing the lead role in the Hit gospel stage play “Whipped” a modern day love story of Hosea and Gomer of the Bible. Each song from 1 through 12 chronicles the events in his life that describes all things ( good things and bad things) that worked together for his good. This is a CD of 12 songs that tell the story of his life. This is the very first solo project for Fred Chris Allen “my life- eternal” He wants the world to know that his story is a testimony that is geared to save souls, save marriages and save lives.
